Vintage Luomanen & partners (1922-45) traditional style double puukko made in Finland in excellent near mint condition.
10 & 5.5cm carbon steel blades are unused and free from rust, these are in as found condition, there is a little corrosion on the nickel alloy ferrules but otherwise these are in pristine condition. The nickel chape on the end of the sheath comes off if pulled as the glue has lost it’s hold, I will leave it to the new owner to choose to glue this or not.
Handle and pommel are made from galalite, a milk protein based plastic made up through WW2 that was used for traditional style puukko as well as other things, it was replaced by petroleum based plastics after WW2
