This knife had been a but thick behind the edge from being sharpened down a bit. It has been re-profiled and thinned but is about 1/8″ narrower and shorter than original dimensions. It is however the proper thickness behind the edge to get back to work and enter its second act. These were made with really great high carbon content steel and deserve their cult status.
This blade is not stainless, expect a patina to form with use, it can rust so no dishwasher or soaking. Clean and dry after use.
