This strop material holds fine compounds very very well, we have found it to be an excellent material for the finer compounds we use. There is a minimum of compound loss through flaking or powdering off, it provides an abrasive rich surface with very little give which aids in making flat fine finished edges.
These are approx. 1.3mm thick making for a bit of give but with a soft, smooth draw. These have a thicker natural rubber neoprene backing making for a grippy surface on the underside.
We have been very happy with these in our tests and are really excited to introduce another top quality stropping material to our line-up.
